This yarn bowl is a quick and easy project using only 2 different crochet stitches and a few supplies. It easily works up in an afternoon. Measuring 5 inches high and 8 ½ inches in diameter it can hold a large yarn ball or even several small balls at a time. The design allows you to remove the yarn for color changes or frogging. I used a couple of my Grandma’s old buttons for fastening the flap, which gave it a nostalgic look and I think of her every time I see it.
